How Cart Share works
Cart Share is a free WooCommerce plugin that adds a Share Cart button to your cart page. A shopper sends their cart as a link, and the person who opens it gets the same products, quantities and coupons, ready to buy.
Where the button appears
On your cart page. It works with the Cart block and with the classic cart, and the plugin finds out which one your store uses. The button opens a small window where the shopper copies the link or sends it to an app.
What the link contains
- Each product in the cart, with the exact variation and quantity
- Any coupon codes used in the cart
Nothing else. There are no prices, names or customer details in the link. Prices come from your store when someone opens it, and nothing is saved in your database. A link looks like this:
https://yourstore.com/checkout-link/?products=123:2,456:1&coupon=spring10What happens when someone opens it
On WooCommerce 10 and newer, the link uses WooCommerce's own checkout links and opens at checkout with the cart already filled. This is the default.
On older versions, or if you choose Cart in the settings, the link opens the cart page. Cart Share empties the person's current cart, adds the shared products and coupons, and shows the message “Cart has been restored from a shared link.”

Shoppers can always copy the link. They can also send it to 12 apps, which you can turn on or off:
